Preop
Post op
Mike had knee surgery yesterday. He is recovering farely well, and is already able to bend it and put a little pressure on it. He had a post op appointment with physical therapy and his surgeon this morning and the outlook is good. The doctor told him that his meniscis was not torn, like once thought; but still had damage to be repaired. There was a lot of arthritis they shaved out and some floating cartilidge that they are unsure where it came from. He was also told that any sort of physical activity needs to be kept on the lighter side of impact; so no running. The surgeon said he had a 50-60 year old knee in a 33 year old body! Anyways, we are hoping that his recovery continues to go smooth and that he can get back to full working order.
On another note, the board adjourned and the Officer results should be out in the next couple weeks. Please keep us in your prayers; whatever God has in store for us. Either way, we will be happy. If he makes it great, we move and go to the next step. If he does not, we get to stay in beautiful Colorado for another 2 years. The way we see it, we win either way.

I hope he keeps recovering well! Also good luck with everything, it is so wonderful that things will work out either way!!
Aww I want him to make it but I don't want him to either! I want y'all to stay here in CO!! :)
I am glad it wasn't torn. My mom had the torn and the arthritus. His recovery time should be pretty quick. She still isn't allowed to put weight on it. So if he is putting weight on it already...that is great!! Wow..officer results already? Where will ya'all go if he makes it? I am sure he will. He really wants it and it has been along time coming...ya know?
