Kaeli turns 1 on Jan 28, but we had her birthday party this past weekend. It was a great party, and a great turn out! We have so many wonderful new friends here in Colorado, and are so blessed. Kaeli has a ton of new baby friends and loves to play with them. As you all know, 1 year old parties are more about the adults ... so the beer and pizza was yummy :-)
Kaeli did so well, and when we brought the cake out and everyone started singing, the look on her face was priceless! She truly did not know what to think. The cake icing was a bit hard (from the refridgerator) so Crystal took a piece and put it in her mouth and the rest was history! She LOVES cake! We gave her a piece of chocolate cake also and she could not get enough. Let's just say she was up until 10 pm and slept until 8, probably would have slept longer if E had not woken her up getting ready for school!
My mom is here for a visit and to celebrate her birthday, and it has been so great having her here. She is, of course, spoiling the kids rotten and loving every second of it!
