So today was back to stroller strides after our LazerQuest bout. I was hoping I would be unable to participate, but I was in good shape and Sarah worked us pretty good today ... lots of squats and lunges! Thanks Sarah :-) I had to take it easy with the rocking crunches, but other than that, I got plenty of normal ones in. On a final Stroller Strides note, I have officially become a "plank". I can now do plank on both sides and both arms without giving up, whining, complaining and making excuses as to why Kaeli needs more snacks and/or toys.
I took my test last night, the one I forgot about until I was reminded by Mike ... glad I have a handle on school! I am proud to say that I got a 98% ... pretty stoked about it and so was Mike. I am managing to get through school and hopefully one day I will finish, preferably before Ethan is enrolling!
Today after Physical Therapy I went to pick Ethan up from school. Ms. Mandy was asking all the kids things they are thankful for during end of the day circle time and here is Ethan's response (with added drama of course) : Ethan: "I am thankful for my skateboard. My dad threw it in the trash.". Ms Mandy: "did you get it out of the trash?" Ethan: "Yes, now it is my lucky skateboard". She decided to recruit a mommy to create a turkey and they will add the feathers
with the kids' responses. I accepted the challenge and here is the outcome:

Gettin' in shape, huh??? That's exciting! Maybe I'll hop on the bandwagon before the holidays take over :o
I love the thankful turkey idea - cute! And that Ethan is still the ultimate story-teller :)
Love and hugs!
