Kids again

Mike and I went out last night and the babysitter worked out great! Her name is Jessica and she is great. She is sweet and kind and said she really enjoyed watching the kids! We were only gone 2 hrs, but did not want to overwhelm her (or the kids for that matter) the first night. Mike and I went and got some dinner at Qdoba (fast food mexican) and ate with no interruptions, no indigestion, no upset stomach! Then we went to the craft store and picked up the frame that I wanted terribly for the family pictures we had taken and it was off to LaserQuest! We had the option to play together alone or with 21 others .. we chose to go it alone the first round so as to not pass out and get trampled by all the youngins who were crowding the lobby. We had so much fun! It went on .. and on .. and on ... and at one point, my back was screaming from carrying the pack, running, ducking, jetting around corners, running up and down ramps, but I loved every minute of it! We had initially paid for two games but after the first, which I was defeated by a very large margin but we will not discuss further, we decided to get a rain check and come back again ... because after all, we have a year membership there now! Yes, that is right, we are official "gamers" with our own key badge and all. We got a real great military discount we could not pass up. I did not remember my camera, plus it was too dark anyways, but it was a great night. After LaserQuest, it was onto get a Blizzard of the Month and then head home. We got home around 8:30 and Kaeli was up partying like a rock star (which I anticipated) because she likes mommy to put her to bed, but Ethan was asleep and the kids were well taken care of. After arriving home from dropping her off at home, Mike reminded me I have an exam due by Sunday night! I guess it is a study cram day Sunday for me .. Yikes! How could I forget? I am looking forward to our next bout! Now off to take an anti-inflamatory ... I won't mention this to my physical therapist :-)
