What do we do ...

So, what do we do when our husbands annoy us or do something dumb? We blog! Today we took Ethan to the bounce house to bounce out some energy. On our way leaving, Mike decides he wants to hit the 3ft yellow pole next to him. Who knows what purpose it served, other than to damage our front bumper! Understandably I was annoyed, angry and frustrated .. not necessarily AT him, but at the fact that he NEVER pays attention! He is a self professed people watcher and although I know that is what he was doing; his version of the events .. "I was looking for small children". Well, I am glad the 3ft yellow pole was not a small child then! He is, as we speak, at the dealership getting an estimate of the damage so we can decide whether to pay out of pocket or go through insurance. Either way, not money we really had to "spend" on something silly. An accident is one thing, not paying attention .. totally different. Where did that pole come from he says; my response, you mean the same yellow pole that was there when we parked the car?
To be continued .....

LOL!

Okay, that sucks, but his reasoning is ridiculous and funny :)

Nothing you can do about it now but to forgive him, realize we all do dumb things occasionally, and then go on. Let him make it up to you tonight... You know... proving he can pay attention when it matters ;)

Love you, Nik!

This happened to Nathan a few months ago as well! He looked down at his phone to switch to a different call (NOT paying attention) and hit the guy in front of him! I was so mad at him and I gave him such a hard time about it.

Luckily we were able to take it to Barbara's husbands business and they took care of the deductable (in so many words), so we didn't have to pay out of pocket. It also wasn't a huge amount of damage so it didn't affect our insurance.

Well, like I said I gave him such a hard time about it all the time. I would ask him when he got home if he hit anybody etc. Just giving him a hard time.

WELL, 6 weeks after he got into the accident, I hit someone from not paying completely attention!!!! I could NO LONGER give him a hard time! lol I was so mad at myself, not so much for hitting the car (hardly any damage) but for getting into an accident and not being able to give him a hard time anymore! Men, cheesh. lol
