TCC has ceased to offer the last 3 classes I need online (yes, I am still at TCC!) So, I am left to ponder ... do I sit at a stand still and work on my 12 year Associate, or try to finish up at a local school here? I chose the latter because I want to finally have a degree .. even if it is just an Associates! I have contacted the local college here, and applied. I have contacted military education center and found that I can apply not only to get instate tuition but also for a program that pays $90 for every 1 credit .... sounding awesome at this point! So I get the ball rolling and contact my professor with a course list from this college here to see which courses match up and so far I am only seeing one of them that matches exactly title for title to TCC.
So, as I wait patiently for her to respond, please pray that I can finish this up. I desperately need her to approve these classes .. even if I have to take a few different courses than TCC's course outline. I do not want to wait any longer!

Hey, just a thought... if the titles dont match up exactly... it sounds like a lot of work, but what you have to do it get the course syllabus from the class at TCC & the class at the new school and that is how they approve them. It is weird, but this is how you get around them not wanting to approve all your credits!

Argh - sorry. I agree, try to match up the course description from the syllabus and not just the title. Keep at it - you're almost done!
Titles rarely match up, but classes do. I transferred from SHSU to UT and NONE of the major course titles matched. But ALL transferred; some just weren't counted toward my degree so I had to take extra courses. Oh well. But don't be discouraged. It'll work out ;)
