The Best!

I have hands down, the best family! They have offered to PAY and have us fly out with the kids in January back to VA to celebrate Kaeli's 1st birthday. It means the world to me that they would want to do that, that they love my kids enough to want to be there with them on their special days. My family is in no way made of money, but they work hard and they do what they can and it brings tears to my eyes that they would spend their money to fly us out there when they could easily spend that money elsewhere. I am speechless ... I am touched and I feel so loved right now. Not to mention, all of my Friends whom I love so much and miss tremendously will see my daughter turn 1. She will have a great 1st birthday like Ethan had a great 1st birthday.

There is one dilemma, possibly problem we have to work out. Mike will be in D.C. for the innauguration (his job to be there), so we have to make sure we can get him down to VA. Hopefully he will be relieved of his duties shortly after the innauguration and he can begin his leave and just drive down ... otherwise, he will have to miss her 1st birthday! I praying that it all works out, and worse case, I will drive Kaeli up to D.C. to be with Mike on her birthday! Regardless, I won't let my baby not see his baby on her birthday :-)
