In a cast

Bare with me as it is real hard to type! I went to ortho today and they do not think I fractured my scaphial as before. The doctor thinks that I acquired tendinitis as a result of my hand trying to heal! That explains the radiating up my arm. They initially wanted to give me a steroid shot in my wrist and then put me in a cast; at which point my blood pressure spiked (I am pretty sure of it) and I think I almost threw up in my mouth! I don't have a problem with getting blood drawn, but the big needles freak me out! I refuse to get a cavity filled, unless they sedate me! I digress .... Instead of the steroid shot, they decided just to do the cast for 2 weeks and then come back for a check, at which point they will reassess the need for steroids or not. So, below is a photo of my pretty pink cast :-)
