Days like these

It is days like these, where the sun is shining, it feels like spring, the mountains are beautiful .. and you take your kids to the park and have a picnic that you realize how lucky you are to do so. I watched Ethan play so well with his friends today and just have a blast at the park, while Kaeli scooted around exploring new things that she has not been able to cooped up indoors and I actually was able to have a nice long wonderful converstaion with a new friend of mine. I really enjoy her company and what the future holds for our friendship. Our husbands get along well, and seem to have a scary amount of things in common!

So, to all of you cooped up in the cold weather, I highly recommend you taking advantage of the next nice day and take your kids to the park, watch them play and laugh and enjoy those little moments. The cleaning can wait, errands can wait. I am really looking forward to the summer here and all that Colorado has to offer us to do outdoors!

Now ... if I could only find my camera!
