Our little character

Ethan is such a cool kid. Quite an attitude, a personality, a spirit like none other, but man was he blessed with a great personality. Yesterday he made me laugh so hard, all I could do was just stop what I was doing and think of how great he is. I was in the kitchen fixing him an ice cream cone (a surprise for him) and he walked up to the door, looked in and saw what I was doing. I said "Ethan! I was making you a surprise and you ruined it (while laughing)" He goes, "oh! so so sorry mom, my bad!" As he walked away he said, "Can I still have my surprise?" Needless to say I took him his ice cream, gave him a kiss and told him just how much I loved him and thought he was a great kid!

Today while cleaning up, or atleast that is what he was supposed to be doing I yelled to the playroom "Ethan, you are supposed to be cleaning up your playroom! Do it now please" Ethan proceeds to open that big trap of his and this is what came out "Mom, you're such a meany pants .. what did I say, yeah, I said meany pants!" I was laughing so hard, I left the room and immediately called his father and my mom because I could not believe my ears and had to share with someone just what a smarty pants he is!

Later on, we are sitting at the table doing lessons (today we were counting) and he goes 1.2.3.6.7.8 and I said, "Ethan, you know how to count. I heard you yesterday count to 17 when you thought I was not paying attention" He then pipes in with "This is hard work!" Then as we were doing the alphabet, I would say a letter and he would do the next 3 ... and so on. I looked at him and said, Ethan .. why do you pretend not to know this stuff? He smiled, sunk in his seat and gave me his I'm cute face ... what a turd!
